Skipoli is the oldest and biggest ski club in Aalto University. Founded in 1974, our passion for the slopes knows no bounds.
We embrace skiing as a way of life. Our community spans various mountain ranges and climates across the world. From local resorts to conquering distant peaks, you'll find like-minded people every step of the way.
Skipoli offers year-round activities. In the summer, we hit the water, and in the winter, we conquer the snow.
With around 600 active members annually, Skipoli is more than just a club – it's a family. Our alumni networks have deep roots, stretching back decades, making Skipoli a lifeline for not just skiing but also lifelong friendships and memories.
Please note that Skipoli does not organize beginners' courses and is a fully volunteer-run association. However, you can take advantage of our member discounts to purchase a course from a partner resort.

As a member of Skipoli you get to participate in our trips and enjoy discounts. We also have our own club room that is free for the members to use. It's located in Otaniemi in Jämeräntaival 10 AB. You can purchase Skipoli's annual membership from our online store.

Our biggest trip is to Ruka during November to celebrate the beginning of the new season. About 400 members participate in this trip. In addition to this, we also organize smaller trips to destinations like the Alps, Scandinavia, and even surfing in Portugal.
